Omega has dropped an “out of this world” update (sorry, I really couldn’t resist the pun) to the Omega Speedmaster Moonphase, now with a meteorite dial and lunar meteorite cabochons for the moon phases, showing both the northern and southern hemisphere moons. But it’s not just a visual overhaul. The perfect 1:1 replica watches comes in a new thinner stainless steel 43mm by 13.6mm case that houses the new in-house manually-wound Caliber 9914 movement with 60 hours of power reserve and has a 21/16mm taper bracelet with polished and brushed links and tool-free micro adjust.
But it’s hard not to fixate on the visual updates; there’s a lot going on. The silver meteorite dial has blue accents, white gold hands, indices (with lume), and a ceramic bezel. The black PVD-coated meteorite dial has polished white gold hands and indexes. This isn’t the first Speedy with a meteorite dial, but it might be their most striking since the Apollo Soyuz release in 2010. What We Think
Omega sure went the extra mile with this new meteorite-themed take Speedmaster Moonphase. The meteorite feels like the immediate star of the show, but even looking at the smaller details, there’s a lot to enjoy. My favorite feature in the picture is the two lunar meteorite cabochons for the moon phase, which have this almost marble-esque quality that makes it look like a photorealistic illustration, even though it’s not. Beyond the dial, the movement is beautifully decorated as well, making it top China copy watches where every detail feels particularly well-considered.
Yes, the price seems aggressive. A blue ceramic moon phase runs $15,000, while the previous steel model on the bracelet is only $11,500. Yes, there are a lot of differences, but the question is whether or not customers will find them justified.
The moon phase subdial looked a bit disproportionate on the dial and made the best 2025 replica watches feel bottom-heavy. Looking at the pictures again and hearing the feedback makes me appreciate the original Omega “SpeedyMoon” with caliber 3866 moon phase and calendar complications even more. That was the first Swiss made fake Omega Speedmaster watches with a moon phase, and with the display at 12 o’clock, it feels more classic, which might be more my speed(y).
Nevertheless, I also appreciate Omega pushing the idea of a Speedmaster Moonphase forward. This cheap replica watches feels distinctly different than the last Speedmaster Moonphase from 2016, which shows how much effort they put into this release. I prefer the black dial since the blue reminds me too much of the 50th-anniversary Silver Snoopy super clone watches online UK, and that color combination was never my favorite.
